Having patients come to me at a young age and watching them grow up, knowing I have made a difference in their lives, is so rewarding. Education and prevention make such a difference in children’s lives, molding them to have great dental health as adults!
I joined the dental field to help pave the way for other females looking to become dentists. Once in dental school, I realized that working with children was my calling. I love the energy each child brings to my day, I enjoy seeing their personalities develop, and I appreciate how they come to trust and think of me as a friend.
Education and motivation are my goals: seeing a child turn around poor oral health and develop a healthy smile is rewarding — I am so proud of them! I also take great pride in treating children with high anxiety and making the experience a positive one.
~ Dr. Caren
Education And In Practice
Dr. Caren Franz attended Rutgers University for her undergraduate studies and then obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Temple University School of Dentistry. Her pediatric dentistry residency and specialty training were completed at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
In her 25 years of practicing pediatric dentistry, Dr. Caren has had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful children — and their families — and help guide them to a lifetime of oral health. Through individualized treatment, personalized education, and the greatest patience and empathy, she builds trust with each child.
This connection is critical, because children are more willing to listen to and learn from adults they trust. It enables Dr. Caren to teach each child about the importance of dental health and how it effects the entire body. Her goal is for every patient to grow up with optimal oral health and empowered to maintain their best smile as adults!
This goal is shared by Dr. Caren’s team. They’ve been with her for many years, so the office feels like a supportive family. Children see the same friendly, smiling people at every visit, and feel safe and loved in the hands of people they know.
Continuing Education
A dedicated learner, Dr. Caren regularly takes continuing education courses to stay abreast of the latest advances in pediatric dentistry. By carefully evaluating new developments — in technology and technique — she is able to incorporate those changes which improve patient care and outcome into the practice.
Beyond The Office
A Warminster native, Dr. Caren is a longstanding resident of New Hope. Her lifelong friends are her family, as is her beloved three-legged retired police dog, Fino, and her horse, Zeus. Away from the office, she can often be found at the farm helping with animals and riding Zeus, visiting with friends, or exercising at home.
